Andrea F. Chavarria, Attorney
Andrea F. Chavarria was born in Mexico and grew up in a suburb outside of Dallas. She is
fluent in Spanish. Ms. Chavarria graduated from the University of North Texas in 2004 with a
BA in Journalism. Afterwards, she moved to London, England to attend Schiller International
University, where she received an MA in International Relations & Diplomacy. In May 2009,
Ms. Chavarria graduated from Thomas M. Cooley Law School. During law school, Ms.
Chavarria interned at one of the largest immigration law firms in Texas. In November 2009,
Ms. Chavarria received her law license and was admitted to the State Bar of Texas. Prior to
opening her own practice, Ms. Chavarria worked at an immigration firm in Austin, TX. She is
a member of the Austin Bar Assocaition and American Immigration Lawyers Association. Ms.
Chavarria currently serves on the board of directors of DFW International Community
Alliance. She is also a member of Latinas Unidas Por un Esperanza. Ms. Chavarria's personal
interests include ballet and jazz dance. In her spare time, Ms. Chavarria enjoys writing and
traveling.
